State Street Brats (“State Street Brats,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and, through it, our restaurant, catering, retail, and shipped-gift offerings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or providing us information, you agree to the practices described here.

This policy covers the website at this domain and the forms, accounts, and checkout it provides. It does not govern any third-party service you may be sent to from here — see Other sites & services.

This policy applies to visitors to this website, customers who place online or in-person orders, people who submit forms (including catering inquiries, job applications, photo submissions, and business-gifting requests), and business customers who use our gifting and colleague-invitation tools. It describes information handled through this website; information collected in person or by phone is handled consistently with this policy where practical.

We collect only the information needed to operate this site, fulfill orders, respond to requests, and run our business. The categories below describe what we may collect — not every visitor provides every category.

• Order and shipping information — the items you order, your billing and shipping addresses, and, for gift orders, the names and addresses of the recipients you ask us to ship to.
• Account information — if you create an account, your login credentials (passwords are stored only in encrypted/hashed form) and your saved order history and addresses.
• Business-gifting information — for our business gifting program, company details, the colleagues you invite, billing arrangements, and recipient lists you provide.
• Files and submissions — content you upload or submit, such as a resume or photo, and any message, agreement, or response you include with a form.
• Communications — the contents of messages you send us and our correspondence with you.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, our hosting provider and certain technical services automatically receive standard information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Payment information

When you pay online, your payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, not stored on our own servers. See Payments.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers. We share information with the vendors who help us run the site and fulfill orders — for example, our hosting provider, payment processor, shipping and fulfillment partners, email and form-processing tools, and similar providers — only to the extent they need it to perform services for us.
• Shipping and delivery. To ship an order, we provide the carrier and our fulfillment partner with the recipient's name, address, and the information needed for delivery.
• Off-site ordering and reservations. If you choose to order, reserve, or pay through a third-party platform we link to, the information you provide there is handled under that platform's own privacy policy.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of State Street Brats, our customers, or others.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. When you pay, your card details are transmitted directly to and handled by that processor under its own privacy and security practices; we receive only a confirmation and limited transaction details (such as the last digits of a card and the billing name and address) needed to complete and account for your order. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

6. Cookies & tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work and to remember your preferences. These include:

• Essential cookies set by the website platform to keep you logged in and to remember the contents of your cart during checkout;
• Preference storage — small flags stored in your browser to remember things like whether you have already seen a one-time site notice, so we do not show it again; and
• Third-party resources — fonts, scripts, and embedded content (such as our beverage tap-list widget) are loaded from outside providers, which by necessity receive your IP address and basic request information in order to serve those files.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site, including checkout, from working. We do not currently use the site to serve third-party advertising.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account, complete and document transactions, and meet our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Some records (such as order and tax records) are retained for longer periods as required or permitted by law. Temporary records, such as invitation links for our business-gifting program, are deleted automatically after they expire. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, server, or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some of our offerings relate to alcohol and are intended only for adults of legal drinking age. This site links to and embeds services operated by others — for example, off-site ordering and reservation platforms, our beverage tap-list provider, payment and shipping providers, and content loaded from outside resources.
