Central to our venue is a private bar offering a variety of drinks, with options for an open tab or pay-at-the-bar service. Alongside this, we provide a full food menu and in-house catered options to delight your guests. During summer, the space opens up with garage door-style windows, merging indoor comfort with the vibrancy of downtown. High-quality audio and video hookups, along with strategically placed TVs and huge projector screens, make our space ideal for presentations, entertainment, and sports viewing.

THE FINE PRINT 📜

• Guest Limit:
  Due to fire code regulations, we can host up to 250 guests in the rental space at one time. You may invite more than 250, but only 250 will be allowed in the space at any given time. This policy will be enforced by SSB staff.
• Refund Policy:
  No refunds will be issued if the actual headcount on the event day is less than the agreed-upon amount.
• Underage Guest Policy:
  Per our liquor license, all guests under 21 must leave the building by 9 PM unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. After 9 PM, underage guests may only attend if they are with a parent/guardian, and the parent/guardian’s ID must match the guest’s last name or address. No exceptions.
  • Under 21 guests are not allowed to drink unless with a parent/guardian.
  • No outside food or drink is allowed in the building.
• Event Time Compliance:
  Guests will be required to leave promptly at the end of the contracted event time.

HELPFUL INFORMATION WHEN PLANNING AN EVENT WITH SSB 🎉

• Food Buffet Preference:
  Preference is given to clients who choose to add a food buffet to their event.
• Invitations:
  We recommend using sites like Canva or Evite.com to create and send invitations. Your guests can show their evites at the door for quick access to your party.
• Guest Capacity Flexibility:
  If you plan to invite more than 250 guests, consider staggering the times your guests come and go.
• Decorations Setup:
  If you’re bringing decorations, please note that setup cannot begin before your chosen event time. Plan accordingly!
• Event Space Access:
  Our event space is on the second floor, and there is no elevator—please plan for guests who may need assistance with stairs.
• Music Requests:
  If you have any specific music preferences, be sure to notify us 2 weeks in advance so we can pass the info to your hired DJ. If you’re not hiring a DJ, you can create your own public Spotify playlist to control the vibe for your event.
• Split Rental Fees:
  Coordinate with fellow graduates to split rental fees and make it a larger, more fun celebration!
