Graduation deserves a place that feels like home—only louder, livelier, and with bartenders who pour a little more generously. For generations, Badgers have gathered at Brats to celebrate milestones, toast to the future, and create the kind of memories that outlast any all-nighter.

So what’s the plan? A table reserved for your crew during graduation weekend, a blowout bash in our private upstairs space? Or maybe we bring the party to your backyard with our 26’ food truck?

Whatever you’ve got in mind, we’ll make sure your celebration lives up to the moment.

Graduation Weekend Table Reservations

Not planning a big event? No problem. On May 9th and 10th, we’re offering limited table reservations for graduation weekend. Perfect for smaller groups who want to grab a bite, raise a glass, and soak up the Brats atmosphere.

Table Reservation Details:

  • Table Fee: $500 for a 3-hour reservation (seats 4–6 guests).
  • Rain or Shine: Some tables may be moved outdoors, depending on the weather. (It’s May in Wisconsin. You know the drill.)

Private Event Space (Go big or go bigger)

If you’re looking to make this graduation one for the ages, our private upstairs event space is where it happens. With room for up to 250 guests and your own private bartenders, this is the place for stories you’ll be retelling at your 10-year reunion.

We’ll help you customize your night down to the details:

  • DJ Services: A great party starts with a killer playlist, and we’ll keep the vibe going all night.
  • Fresh Buffet Packages: Full plates, happy guests, and nobody fighting over the last bratwurst.
  • Add-Ons: From custom decor to extra touches, we’ll make the space feel like it was made just for you.

If you’ve got the party, we’ve got the space—and the know-how—to turn a celebration into a story worth telling.

Food Truck & Catering

Sometimes the best celebrations happen right in your backyard. Or your driveway, or wherever the party is. Our 26’ food truck is ready to roll up with great food, cold drinks, and good times. Whether it’s a small gathering or a full-blown bash, we’ll make sure your guests leave full and happy.

Rules to Keep Your Party Running Smoothly

Guest Limit

Fire code regulations cap the upstairs event space at 250 guests at one time.

Invite as many people as you want, but only 250 will be allowed in the space at any given moment. Don’t worry, our staff will kindly enforce this policy, so you can focus on celebrating.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2025.
  • If your actual headcount on event day comes in under the agreed-upon amount, refunds for the difference won’t be issued.

Underage Guest Policy

  • Per our liquor license, all guests under 21 must leave the building by 9 PM unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • After 9 PM, underage guests can only stay if they’re with a parent or guardian. The parent/guardian’s ID must match the guest’s last name or address. No exceptions.
  • Underage guests are prohibited from drinking alcohol unless accompanied by a parent/guardian (yes, this includes that one “cool uncle”, sorry).

Outside Food & Drink

No outside food or drinks are allowed in the building. We’ve got your catering and bar needs covered, so you don’t need to BYO anything.

Event Time Compliance

When your event time ends, the space closes. Guests will need to exit promptly when the contracted time is up, so be sure to wrap up those goodbyes on time!

Helpful Tips (because smooth celebrations are the best celebrations)

Buffet Preference

If you’re debating adding a food buffet to your private event space rental, here’s some insider info: guests who choose a buffet get priority booking. Delicious food and better odds of locking in your date? It’s a win-win.

Sending Invitations

Want to keep it classy and organized? We recommend using sites like Evite.com to design and send your invites. Your guests can show their evites at the door for easy check-in.

Managing Your Guest List

Planning to invite more than 250 guests? We recommend staggering arrival times to keep the space within capacity. It’s a great way to keep the party flowing without overloading the room.

Decorations & Setup

If you’re bringing decorations, setup can’t begin before your contracted event time. Plan accordingly to give yourself enough time to get everything just the way you want it.

Event Space Access

Our event space is on the second floor and there’s no elevator. If you’ve got guests who need assistance with stairs, plan ahead to ensure everyone gets upstairs comfortably.

Music Requests

Got a specific vibe in mind for your event? Let us know your music preferences at least 2 weeks in advance so we can coordinate with your DJ. No DJ? No problem. Create a Spotify playlist and take control of the party soundtrack yourself.

Split the Costs, Share the Fun

Want to make your celebration bigger without breaking the bank? Team up with fellow graduates to split the rental fees and make it a massive joint celebration. More grads, more guests, more memories.
